Summary:

Super refreshing, fragrant & yummy.

We LOVE this tea! Ever since visiting Guilin 10 or so years ago Marc has been obsessed with the sweet fragrant Osmanthus flower, especially in tea!

Osmanthus is a flower native to the Guangxi province of China and is the city flower of its capital, Guilin, where it is often a symbol of love & romance and used in weddings! So pucker up.

We just love how it tastes with this superb Guilin black tea.

The tiny golden Osmanthus flowers can be seen mixed in with the dark chocolate and golden downy fine twisted leaves and they result in gorgeous honey sweet, fruity, malty, slightly woody drink with tobacco hints.

It has a sweet, honey or honey suckle flavour and aroma that shines through in the tea.

Osmanthus is also thought by many to help digestion and aid the immune system, as well as prevent kidney disease & cancer so what are you waiting for?
This tea is presented in our “Small Batch” packaging with accompanying Batch Tea Passport.

Unique, must try!

Really delicious tea, the osmanthus brings a nice refreshing/floral hint to the tea, without being overpowering or at all "synthetic" tasting like some flavoured teas can be. Quality taste and good to support more ethical tea production

Add 2 heaped teaspoons per cup (that’s around 3-4 grams) and pour on 100°C water straight off the boil.

Infuse the tea for 2 - 3 minutes and enjoy.

Re-infuse 2 -3 times.

Don’t forget, you can adjust any of the measurements to suit your style!

If you use a piao yi teapot or gaiwan, then infuse for much shorter time and enjoy multiple infusions with a different flavour profile each time!
