Summary:

Unmistakably mandarin!

Beeeeeautiful light, refreshing Phoenix Mountain Oolong with the tropical flavours you expect from this region, with beautiful, lasting flavour of mandarin orange and honey orchid.

Grown in the famous oolong producing Phoenix Mountain region of Guangdong Province, China where the oolongs produced have been specifically bred based on the scent and flavour the leaves produce. The mountains smell divine, as the tropical aromas of honeysuckle, honey orchid, pomelo, mandarin and mango diffuse across the region from the different bushes, and when you get a good example of any particular type, you know because the flavours are intense and lasting.

Long dark chocolate and golden twisted dry leaves turn green with red hued edges where the oxidation has taken place, and the wet leaves smell so sweetly floral, like honey orchids, hence the name!

Perfect in the afternoon with or after a light lunch. Ideal paired with white fish or dim sum.

This tea is presented in our “Small Batch” packaging with accompanying Batch Tea Passport.
